Hyatt Regency Chicago's check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Room assignments prior to that time are based on availability.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Several options are available when checking out:
Video check-out: This option is available on the guest room television. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and pick up a receipt at the Gold Passport Desk.
Express check-out *6000: Dial 6000 on the in-room telephone and follow the
instructions on the voicemail system.
Charges will be assessed to guests who check out before their scheduled day of departure or check out after 12:00 noon.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE
There are two currency exchanges located in Illinois Center. This is a convenient place to exchange foreign currency, buy stamps or bus passes, cash checks, wire money or process a money order. The currency exchange in Illinois Center One is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; call (312) 329-0111 for more information. It is located on the North side of the Illinois Center near Houllihan's, etc.
Foreign currency may also be exchanged at the Front Desk (note: not all foreign currencies are available). There is a limit of $100 American dollars per registered guest, per day. Only paper currency may be exchanged, no coins please.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION/Medical Facilities
In the event of an emergency, our Security Department can be reached at extension 55 or through the hotel operator (0). This may be called from any house phone in the hotel. If a guest requires emergency medical assistance, the Chicago Fire Department Paramedics will transport them to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, which is the nearest emergency medical facility to the hotel.

When an article is found in the hotel, it is turned into the Lost and Found Department and kept there for 30 days.
The Security Department is available for all inquiries. They can be reached at ext. 6641. The Hotel Assistant Manager's is primarily responsible for lost items that are considered valuables (i.e. laptop computers, palm pilots, cell phones). The Hotel Assistant Manager's office is also open 24 hours daily. Guests are responsible for all shipping charges to return any claimed articles.
IMPORTANT CONFERENCE INFORMATION
The recommended attire for the Agile 2009 Conference is business casual. Please bring a sweater or light jacket with you to meeting rooms as you may find them a bit cold. Continental breakfast, AM and PM Breaks and Lunch [with the exception of Wednesday] will be provided during the Conference dates. If you have identified any specific meal restrictions or allergies when registering, arrangements have been made accordingly at all organized meals.
Throughout the Agile 2009 Conference and your stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago your Elastic Conference Staff will be pleased to assist you in every way possible. Please do not hesitate to contact them on-site at the Agile 2009 Hospitality Center(s). Additionally, volunteers will be stationed throughout the conference and will be able to assist you with any questions you have.

A 10.25% is levied on all non-perishable goods purchased, while 2% is levied on grocery items, drugs, and medical appliances.[35] There is an additional 1% tax, the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA) "Food and Beverage Tax", on food and beverage purchases in the downtown area (These "downtown" boundaries are: Surf Street on the north, Ashland Avenue on the west, Stevenson Expressway (I-55) on the south, & Lake Michigan on the east. Furthermore, O'Hare and Midway airports also fall under the 1% MPEA tax district).
